Title:CONSTITUTION OF THE CO-OPERATIVEREPUBLIC OF GUYANA

An ACT to enact a new Constitution of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, to repeal the Guyana Independence Act 1966, the Guyana Independence Order 1966, and the existing Constitution, and to provide for matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

Title:GUYANA ENERGY AGENCY ACT

An Act to make provision for the establishment of the Guyana Energy Agency and for specifying its functions and for matters connected therewith.

Title:ELECTRICITY SECTOR REFORM ACT

An Act that regulate the grant, modification, and extension of licenses for supply of electricity. Also, it enacts the administrative procedure for suspension and revocation of the licenses, and the appeal procedures. The act creates the Guyana Power and Light Inc, as part of the reform of the electricity sector. It establishes the penalties and immunities for the unauthorized suppliers of electricity.

Title:ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT

An Act to provide for the management, conservation, protection and improvement of the environment, the prevention or control of pollution, the assessment of the impact of economic development on the environment, the sustainable use of natural resources and for matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

Title:PETROLEUM (PRODUCTION) ACT

An Act to vest in the State the property in petroleum and natural gas within Guyana and to make provision with respect to the search for and getting of petroleum and natural gas, and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid.
